IPL match status: scheduled, live, break or completed
A match status tells you whether a fixture is yet to begin, in progress, paused between stages or finished. Read it before interpreting the score.
Scheduled is a plan
A scheduled fixture lists an intended time and participants. It does not yet provide a current innings score. Check the competition, date and venue so that a future meeting between the same teams is not confused with a past result.

Breaks need context
An innings break or delay can leave the last score visible. That number may still be correct while no balls are being bowled. Look for the status message and update time rather than assuming an unchanged score means your app has failed.
Completed needs a result
Once a match finishes, the result line explains the outcome. A final score alone may be insufficient when there were revised conditions or a tie procedure. Read the official result wording before summarising who won.
